Quality and Environmental Policy

The Palafox Hotels and Reina Petronila, 5-star hotels, Hiberus, Goya, and Alfonso, 4-star hotels (Zaragoza Urbana, S.A.), and the Playa Victoria Hotel, S.A, a 4-star hotel, are aware that their hotel activities can have impacts on the environment and that customer satisfaction is rooted in their corporate culture. They express their commitment to Quality and Environment through the following basic principles:

• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation on Quality and Environment and other voluntary requirements.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, setting goals and objectives that, once reviewed, ensure that the service is better day by day and pollution prevention is more present. Innovation as a step towards Business Excellence.
• Management of material resources. The facilities offer clients comfort and safety. Their maintenance and operation are one of our primary objectives.
• Human Resources Management. Aware of the immense value that the human team brings to the hotels, we are committed to continuous training and equating the roles of internal and external clients. A happy and motivated collaborator and a well-attended client.
• Extend the Commitment beyond the Organization, involving suppliers and clients. Raising awareness among everyone, ensuring the future of upcoming generations.
• Corporate Social Responsibility and Accessibility Standards are present in our daily actions and fully integrated into the new projects undertaken by the hotel division.

Good Environmental Practices

• Promote the purchase and use of recycled and/or ecological paper, free of chlorine (TCF) or partially free of chlorine (ECF), for restaurant menus, envelopes, etc.
• Choose office materials with low environmental impact, both at the workplace and in our homes. Read the product instructions, choosing the most ecological ones. Generally, these simple criteria can be followed:
• Avoid single-use products, opting for refillable pens, mechanical pencils, ring binders to add sheets, …
• Solvent-free correction fluid.
• Pencils without varnish, etc.
• This contributes to sustainable development and, at the same time, to environmental improvement.
