An origin tied to the ocean
The history of Hotel Playa Victoria does not begin with its current building but with a place that was already a meeting point long before. At the beginning of the 20th century, this very site was home to the Balneario Reina Victoria, a symbol of a Cádiz that was starting to understand the value of its coast as a space for life and future.
With the inauguration of the old hotel in 1931, the place cemented its vocation: to welcome those who arrived drawn by the light, the climate, and the unique way of living by the sea. Decades later, that same idea remains unchanged.
The reopening of the hotel in 1994 marked the beginning of a new stage: a contemporary space, open to the ocean and designed to keep that legacy alive without foregoing evolution.
Architecture open to the horizon
The Hotel Playa Victoria is designed to face the sea. Its architecture allows the Atlantic light to enter without limits, the breeze to flow through the terraces, and each room to maintain a constant connection with the outside.
Its 188 rooms, many of them with direct ocean views, are designed so that guests never lose sight of their surroundings. Here, space opens up, breathes, and adapts to the natural rhythm of Cádiz.
